Sweetness!

Last night was SO COLD! We brought ALLLL the babies inside for the night and took a few pics! Oh and they were SNORNG!

Which one doesn't belong?!?!

Last night was our last night with "bear cub"(that's what G-man calls her!) Thankfully she'll just be down the street at The Collard's! That's actually a really good thing, because I am really attached to her! :) Josh and I gave her extra love and attention last night---she watched American Idol with us! And, she gave us plenty of puppy kisses too!

Another Fabulous Date!

Last night Josh and I went to Iguana Grill. It was yummmmy! The atmosphere was so neat, probably the coolest we've seen in a while. We talked about our kids growing too fast, the bad things they sometimes say and having another baby(uh-huh, we did!). Oh and not finding out the sex of the baby until it's born! I think I may have him talked into that one! I tried to talk him into posting on here...maybe you'll hear from him soon! Our next romantic hot spot was Walmart-ha! I know it sounds crazy, but we needed groceries and we had fun getting them by ourselves! I love date night!

OK, now to TOTALLY change the subject! :) I have a really good friend from high school that I want to tell you about. His name is Todd Bridges, we have lost touch since being in school but keep up with each other through Facebook, Myspace and all that fun stuff that is WAY too addicting! Anywho, he and his wife, Jess, have three beautiful daughters(5 and under!). They have been planning for several years now to go to Africa(Equatorial Guinea) to be missionaries to children in crisis. Jess has started a blog and I am adding it to my list. Please visit and keep them in your prayers. They plan to be in the country sometime in June--which is not that long from now!

I am also adding My Charming Kids to the list. Well, just because I LOVE MckMama and all of her MckKids!

The Bright Star

Whew, what a weekend! On Friday we headed up to The Bright Star for dinner. It was Allison's pick since we were celebrating her birthday. We were supposed to meet there at 7 pm. We actually arrived 20 minutes early and decided to wait in the car for everyone else to arrive. When it was time to get out of the car G-man said that he was tangled in his seat belt. I got out and tried to get him out and couldn't. So, Josh got out and tried for about 10-15 minutes to untangle him! DON'T ASK ME HOW THIS HAPPENED!!!! WE HAVE NO CLUE!!! Geeze~Josh ended up having to cut the seat belt off of him...I mean we even took his clothes off trying to get him out! Boys will be boys I guess! Dinner was YUMMO! When we got ready to leave I starting digging around looking for my keys......you got it...locked in the car! ugh...luckily, my window is messed up so Josh broke in! ha!

Master P and his spaghetti

Saturday night was my little sister Kelsie's beauty walk. We were so excited about going. Well, on Saturday morning before Josh went to bed the Chief called and told him he had to come in early because someone else had called in. We were so mad! But, my friend Jamie was able to go with me and we had a ton of fun....except for the part where my sister didn't win....seriously, what were the judges thinking?!?!?! I forgot my camera so I don't have any pics. :(

Happy Birthday Farse!

Happy Birthday Aunt Allison! Farse is in the title because that is one of our nicknames for her...she also goes by Aunt Al, Arse, Arson and Faith! Those were mostly made up by the kids, obviously! There are a few more names I sometimes call her, but we won't put those on here! Ha, just kidding! Tonight she is eating at one of my fav spots, Pf Changs..hefer! Tomorrow night we will all head up to B'ham to eat at the Bright Star for her "birthday party". Any excuse to eat there is good for me!
After I uploaded this pic, I realized that I never put any of Baby Girl's birthday party pics on here...I will do that soon!

Baby Girl's Eyes

Every year a person from Birmingham comes by the preschool that our kids go to with some sort of special camera. They take a real close up picture of the kids' eyes to see if they think they may have vision problems. It's free so I usually do it. I never really think much about it because Josh and I both have very good vision. The boys' results have always come back fine, no problems. Well, this was Baby Girls first time to have it done because she just started preschool a few months ago. We got the results back a month or so ago. I was stunned to see that it said that she more than likely THREE different eye problems. I immediately called Josh and freaked out. Not that there is anything wrong with glasses but my sweet baby girl?!?!?!? Kids are mean and I was terrified of her being made fun of! I talked with her pediatrician and she told me which eye doctor to take her to. Monday was her appointment. I filled out all the paperwork, Baby Girl helped. Then I entertained her until they called us back....and THAT will wear you out! When they called her back the lady was like, "Are you I******a?" to me. I said, "No, she is." "OH MY, she is the youngest one I have EVER seen here.", she said. I thought, "OH CRAP, I am about to throw up." Then she leaves the room and comes back and said, "I just had to find out what I needed to do since she is so young." By this point I am really scared! She put the drops in her eyes, which kept them dialated for 24 hours! Then the doctor came in...she was FABULOUS and calmed my nerves so much. She checked out her eyes for about 15 minutes and could not find ONE thing wrong with them. So, just to be sure, she got the other doctor to check as well. He couldn't find anything either! YAY! In a nutshell, those baby blues are perfect!

The Bachelor and Mako Update!

You may remember this post. Yea, I was pretty ticked! So as you can imagine I was VERY excited to find out that Jason would be the next Bachelor! Last night was the premiere and it was excellant! Well, until the end when they showed some clips for the rest of the season.....Deanna decided to come to the house where they were filming and proceeded to tell Jason that she "made a mistake". Well, no crap woman! Anyway, as Josh and I watched the show I made my picks and we analyzed the crap out of all the women! ha! My first pick is this lovely, beautiful girl.....

Her name is Brooke and she is from right here in T-town! ha! Don't worry, Brooke, I won't tell them you have been calling Jason for the past year! :) No, seriously, since she can't have him, I pick the girl that he gave the first impression rose to...Nikki. I may very well change my mind 15 times before it's all over with, but hey, I am a woman and it's my God-given right to change my mind alot!

On to Mako, he seems better. He ate grits-of all things-and then he ate some ground beef, scrambled eggs and no telling what else his daddy put in there! It was a whole bunch of food and he ate every single bite! YAY! He slept inside last night in his crate and this morning he was still asleep when I left for work! Now, we are just taking it day by day......here is a pic of him from last night....
You can't tell too much about it because it was dark in the house, we had to keep the lights dim because Baby Girl had to go to the eye doctor yesterday and her eyes were still sensitive, which is a whole post in itself. I will post that one later!

Million Dollar Question

We had a great time New Year's Eve! It was so nice to have time to ourselves and there was nothing but ADULT conversation! We didn't take one single picture...I think we were both too lazy to keep up with the camera! There was one question that I bet we were asked about 47 times that night....."ya'll have THREE!! kids?!?! How do you do it?" Honestly, we get this question ALL THE TIME. I really don't see what the big deal is. There are only three of them. We aren't the Duggars...and we never will be! It is not that hard to manage. Don't get me wrong, there are times when Josh and I want to shoot ourselves but we just try to relax and get through it the best we know how. I definitely recommend the date night thing to any couple who has kids. It helps so much. I really don't have any parenting advice....if you really want to see how we do it, then come on over and see for yourself!

Now, for an update on Mako. Not good....not good at all. After my last post on Wednesday Josh talked with the vet again and they said that he may be able to come home on Friday. So, Friday morning I called and they told me that he had eaten a can of dog food the day before but now he was being picky again. She said that they wanted us to come and visit him and bring him some of his food from home...depending on how he did with us, he may be able to leave with us. That afternoon we loaded up the kiddos and headed over there. They put us in a room and brought him in. SO SKINNY.....skinnier than he was when he first went in. He wouldn't really eat for us either. :( The boys started to get bored and so I took the kids to the car while Josh stayed to try and get him to eat. No such luck. As I sat in the car I looked up to see my sweet hubby walking towards the car with an empty leash. :( They told him to check back in on Saturday. He called Saturday and they told him to call today. This morning they told him to bring his food from home again and visit with him. I hope our sweet boy makes it though this. They have done blood work, x-rays, you name it and they can't find out what is wrong. I'll update this afternoon after Josh visits him.

***Mako update*** Basically, in a nutshell, they have no freakin idea what is wrong with our dog. Grr. There has been talk with a specialist in Mississippi and the vet said something to Josh about taking him over there. Sheesh. Our bill at our normal vet is $705! No kidding. And specialist will = more $$$$$. So we decided that he should come home for a few days and see what we can do with him. We normally don't feed him "people food" but at this point we are just trying to get anything down him. Josh just called me and said that we have a new family member that LOVES grits! Hey, whatever he'll eat!
