Peyton’s Party Pics!

Peyton had a blast at this party. He had it at our local skating place. I honestly can’t stand the place but it wasn’t my birthday! HAHA!DSC_0589 DSC_0590 DSC_0591 The party room was crammed…it was so small we could barely fit all the kids in there! We had to leave the adults outside the room! This is one of the tables, I didn’t get a picture of the other table.   :( I was just overwhelmed at how small of a space I had!

These two stuck close by each other all day! She LOVED skating and made Josh follow her around all day! ;)DSC_0608 Griffin is the sweetest little guy. He’s going to make an awesome Hubby one day like his Daddy! So will Peyton. One day….a loooonnnnngggggg time from now! He was skating around with my little niece, holding her hand! Melt me! He told me that he didn’t want her to skate with the little kids all day and that he wanted her to learn to skate fast! DSC_0614 photo 1 IMG_20130126_120858 photo 2 I can’t believe our sweet boy is 9. Time really flies!

Are you crazy? This thing could save your life!

Last year my cousin made a video on pulling to the right for sirens and lights..it's here if you missed it! So funny!

Now he's done another to remind you to check your smoke detectors! Be sure to watch ALLL the way to the end, that's where the funny stuff is! ;)

27 Weeks!

DSC_0586 How far along: 27 Weeks! Last week of my second trimester! Yikes!

Size of the baby: According to Baby Center, he or she weighs almost 2 pounds(head of cauliflower) and measures 14  1/2 inches.

Total weight gain/loss: Up 26 pounds. More than I would like? Yes. Do I care right now? No.

Maternity clothes: Yes.

Stretch marks: Old one.

Sleep: Some nights it’s good, some I don’t sleep a wink! I’m not uncomfortable yet, just can’t sleep.

Best moment this week: Spending time alone with the sweetest man on the planet, celebrating Peyton’s birthday! And sharing baby kicks with everyone in the house! :)

Movement: Lots of rolling, hiccupping and dancing around!

Food cravings/aversions: Not really craving anything too much, not enough for me to remember anyway. Greek Yogurt turned into ranch dip is pretty fab!

Gender: Don’t know. It’s hard. But I’m stubborn!

Labor signs: Still just Braxton-Hicks.

Belly button in or out: In, trying to flatten.

What I am looking forward to: Peyton’s party tomorrow, getting the baby’s room painted!

I had a doctor’s appointment yesterday. It was glucose test day. I really don’t know why people make such a big deal out of drinking that drink. I’ve done it 4 times, it’s sweet but it’s tolerable for sure. I don’t have my results yet. My doctor had an emergency before my appointment so that put him super behind. I was there for two hours. By the time I saw him the only thing I remembered to talk to him about was my heart. I don’t think I’ve said a lot about it here but it’s doing the same thing it did when I was pregnant with Peyton, it basically races a lot. It doesn’t feel good, but I have learned to manage it…I can just change positions and make it stop, and it only lasts for about a minute if that. Dr. said blood volume is at it’s peak right now and that may be causing it, if it lasts about 5 minutes to head to the ER. I’m not concerned.

My next appointment is in TWO weeks! I can not believe I’m already that far along! I’m SO excited and SO overwhelmed to get the baby’s room done…like NOW. :)

Babymooning ;)

Josh and I had a fun little quick trip to the beach! We needed one last weekend alone before the baby arrives. Beach! The weather was beautiful! And bright, hence the squinty eyes! ;)

We did a LOT of shopping, mostly for the baby! We bought stuff we “don’t need”. hee hee! We did find out that one of our favorite restaurants closed down. BOOOOOO. No more cuban nachos. :(

The kids enjoyed time away too! Griffin did lots of things that I would cringe if I saw him do, but total boy things that he should be doing!

Peyton had fun staying up WAY past bedtime and eating Gogurt while playing Guitar Hero!photo 4Reece had lots of fun at the gym meet! IMG_8929We all had fun! I love to get away and have the hubs to myself but neither one of us can go more than a few days without our babies! :)

Happy Birthday Peyton!

Happy Happy 9th Birthday to our baby boy, Peyton!

How is he already 9? I tell you how…he’s eating us out of house and home! Definitely a growing boy! His party is not until Saturday. Lucky for him, school is out today! He slept in and I took him Chick-fil-A and a cupcake home for lunch! ;) Doesn’t get any better than that! He said he wants to eat Japanese for dinner today so I guess that’s where we’ll be!DSC_5503He is getting a Nabi from Josh and I. He will be SO excited! It’s kind of like an iPad, but for kids…with parental controls! ;)

Happy Birthday, Sweet Love!

26 Weeks!

DSC_0583 How far along: 26 Weeks!

Size of the baby: According to Baby Center, he or she weighs 1 2/3 pounds and measures 14 inches..an English hothouse cucumber. What the heck is that?

Total weight gain/loss: Didn’t weigh, but I go back to the doctor on Thursday so we’ll see then!

Maternity clothes: Oh yes. I have finally retired my pre-pregnancy jeans except for one pair. If you knew what size the ones I was still wearing were you would shoot me. Hee hee!

Stretch marks: Old one.

Sleep: Bless your heart if you disturb my slumber!

Best moment this week: Getting a good start on things for the nursery! If I could get by the paint store Hubby could get his part done! I don’t have much more to get….I think just a dust ruffle for the bed and a couple more “honey do’s”. I’ll be glad to have that done! Another best moment would be spending FOUR hours cleaning out Reece’s room this past weekend. She parted with A LOT of toys. Hubs also spent about that much time in Peyton’s room and will move on to Griffin’s next! It’s the great clean out at our house! AND I LOVE IT! So thankful my Lover Love helps me with these things!

Movement: Yea buddy!

Food cravings/aversions: Right now I’m still on the breakfast kick..AND peanut butter on graham crackers! YUMMMMM! And fruit still.

Gender: From the looks of things y’all think it’s a girl! ;)

Labor signs: NO, thankfully. But, I have started having Braxton-Hicks. This is usually about how far I am along when I start having them!

Belly button in or out: In, trying to flatten.

What I am looking forward to: Actually, what I’m looking forward to is happening right now because I cheated and scheduled this post! Josh and I are on a little baby moon! We needed one last getaway before some little someone is attached to me 24/7! We split the kids up between aunts and grandparents to give them some time apart too. The boys are SO mad about this. Of course they fight like brothers do so I thought it would be a good idea…now they can see how it would be if they didn’t have the other one!

I’m also looking forward to my doctor appointment on Thursday…glucose test and seeing how much longer he’s going to let me travel! I want to take the kids to the beach spring break but ummmmmmmm I’ll be like 36 weeks then. eeekkk!

Gender Predicting!

My sister did this little gender predicting survey when she was pregnant with Noah! I thought it would be something fun to do!

I also put a little poll up on the top right corner for you to guess! I’m curious to see what everyone else thinks!

It's a boy if:
You didn't experience morning sickness in early pregnancy
Your baby's heart rate is less than 140 beats per minute
You are carrying the extra weight out front
Your belly looks like a basketball
Your areolas have darkened considerably
You are carrying low
You are craving salty or sour foods
You are craving protein -- meats and cheese
Your feet are colder than they were before pregnancy
The hair on your legs has grown faster during pregnancy
Your hands are very dry
Your pillow faces north when you sleep
Dad-to-be is gaining weight, right along with you
Pregnancy has you looking better than ever
Your urine is bright yellow in color
Your nose is spreading
You hang your wedding ring over your belly and it moves in circles
You are having headaches
You add your age at the time of conception and the number for the month you conceived and the sum is an even number
It's a girl if:
You had morning sickness early in pregnancy
Your baby's heart rate is at least 140 beats per minute
You are carrying the weight in your hips and rear-Exsqueeze me? No, boobs and belly! HA!
Your left breast is larger than your right breast
Your hair develops red highlights-Rissie??
You are carrying high
Your belly looks like a watermelon
You are craving sweets
You are craving fruit
You crave orange juice

You don't look quite as good as normal during pregnancy
You are moodier than usual during pregnancy
Your face breaks out more than usual
You refuse to eat the heel of a loaf of bread
Your breasts have really blossomed!-HA.HA.HA. Understatement of the YEAR!
Your pillow faces south when you sleep
Your urine is a dull yellow color
You hang your wedding ring over your belly and it moves from side to side
You add your age at the time of conception and the number for the month you conceived and the sum is an odd number

Looks like girl BUT this was wrong for Allison so we shall see!:)

25 Weeks!

DSC_0575 How far along: 25 Weeks! WHAT??? I can’t believe I only have 15 weeks to go!

Size of the baby: According to Baby Center, about 13 1/2 inches and about a pound and a half…size of a rutabaga!

Total weight gain/loss: I did not gain one single ounce this week! I just cleaned up my diet some and increased my water intake. I never made it to the gym this week. Well I was at the gym some, just not working out! Busy work week!

Maternity clothes: I finally found some jeans that somewhat fit yesterday…only problem is I can’t keep them up. Guess I’ll be  yanking on them all day.

Stretch marks: Old one.

Sleep: Sleep is pretty good!

Best moment this week: Reece started back to gymnastics Monday. We took December off…didn’t really mean to do that, it just happened that way!

Movement: Lots and lots…baby’s favorite spot this week is my hip bone!

Food cravings/aversions: Are you sitting down? I had eggs for lunch yesterday and they were divine!!

Gender: You know what? This little nugget just may be a BOY! ;) No, we still don’t know, I just don’t have the HUGE girl feeling anymore! Maybe it’s because I’m not feeling sick anymore. I need to put a survey up for y’all to tell me what you think!

Labor signs: NO, thankfully.

Belly button in or out: In

What I am looking forward to: Officer Hubby is now OFF on the WEEKENDS!!!!! YAHOOOOOOOO!

We may be settled on a boy name!! 95% sure we are! As soon as we get a girl name I will share! Pinky Promise!

Peyton Update

If you are out of the loop read here and here first!

We went to the asthma doctor last week and he decided to do a test on Peyton this week. Why we couldn’t just do it while we were there is beyond me. I took him to do the test on Monday. He didn’t pass or fail it. Great.20130107_084239At least he’s cute!

There is another test that we can do that will tell us FOR SURE if he has asthma. Keep in mind this is only exercise induced. The doctor gave us the option to do the other test or to take an inhaler and use it if he has another episode. Since we did have his heart thoroughly checked out and know it’s fine, we decided along with the doctor to go with the inhaler.

So we wait to see if he needs it. It’s going to be frustrating to know if he really needs it or he just wants to use it. I see the writing on the wall.

Hopefully he just won’t need it!!!

24 Weeks!

DSC_0572 How far along: 24 Weeks!

Size of the baby: According to Baby Center, it has gained about 4 ounces this week so a little over a pound. Baby Center also says about the length of an ear of corn.

Total weight gain/loss: Are you ready? As of yesterday I have gained 20 pounds. Holy cow! So, yea, 5 pounds in just a couple of weeks. After I went those few weeks without gaining any I was starving all the time! So I guess I made up!

Maternity clothes: Some.

Stretch marks: Old one.

Sleep: I sleep pretty well until the baby starts kicking around! ;)

Best moment this week: My doctor’s appointment yesterday!

Movement: I’m telling y’all! This is the most active little baby! Yesterday when my nurse was trying to check the heartbeat she was chasing it everywhere and never could get it to stay still long enough to count. After about 10 minutes of trying my doctor came in and we all just gave up! HAHA! And I hadn’t even had any caffeine!

Food cravings/aversions: It’s back to healthy eating for this girl! I’ll still cave to occasional things but for the most part I plan to eat well.

Gender: Find out in April.

Labor signs: NO, thankfully.

Belly button in or out: In

What I am looking forward to: Getting back in the gym on Monday! I didn’t mean to take the first half of my pregnancy “off” from the gym. It just kinda happened that way since I felt like crap all the time!

New Year’s Baby!

My step-sister, Katie, had her sweet baby girl yesterday! She wasn’t due until January 14th but went into labor New Year’s Eve! After a long day and night Paisley Katherine was born at 4:37am New Year’s Day! She was the first baby born at that hospital in 2013 and the second baby born in our county! Fun times! She got all sorts of fun goodies from the hospital!

Reece and I went to visit for a few minutes yesterday. It’s very safe to say that she can NOT wait for April to get here! She will be the best big sister EVER!

I know I may be a little partial but she’s such a doll! And she has the longest eyelashes I have EVER seen on a baby! They are so long that they curl!Photo: Baby Paisley such a pretty baby girl :) she was the first New Years baby at the big DCH!! Congrats Ben & Katie. Y'all did good!!!

I hope your New Year’s Eve/Day was great! Ours was fantabulous!
