Curiosity killed the cat....

....or maybe it was just stupidity. As you can imagine, I have laundry running out of my ears! I stayed up a little later than normal last night catching it up. Well around 10:00 I heard the dogs going crazy. I went to the back door and saw something on the fence...it was a cat(well, a teenager cat).

So I thought the dogs would scare it off. It was funny to watch Mako trying to jump on the fence and get it so I was taking pics. After a few minutes I went back inside and hoped everything would calm down. It didn't. So, off I went back outside to see if I could get rid of the cat. Stupid thing WOULD NOT leave! It was a mean cat, too. I tried throwing things at it, that didn't work. I got the water hose and sprayed it. It jumped off the fence, into the neighbors yard. I turned the water off and started to walk back inside and it jumped back up on the fence. The cat was really just asking for it at this point. Mako went crazy. The girls were so not interested and were on the porch trying to sleep. Finally, the cat started running down the top the fence, Mako was still chasing it. Then, the stupid cat jumped on Mako's head and dug its claws in deep. Big FATAL MISTAKE! Mako, of course, started shaking his head around...in turn shaking the cat like it was a rag doll. He was throwing it all over the place. Poor cat. But seriously, if you were that small and saw a 100 lb Doberman in your face would you jump on him?



About the time the cat jumped on Mako the boys came to see what all the fuss was about. They freaked out and I sent them back to bed and told them that the cat got away...so don't mention this around them!!!!
