Peyton’s Party Pics!

You just tried to say that three times fast, didn’t you?! ha!

Peyton’s birthday party was SO much fun. For the kids AND the grown-ups! :) He had several of his friends from school there and they just had the best time! I only had to let the momma claws come out one time because they were being too rough around the little ones…I consider that good because it was a full house!

Big Mama and P! That’s me and Reece! My sweet little niece slid down the ladder! heehee! Griff being Griff! The Birthday Boy was SERIOUS about the sword game! Sweet friends sliding… And Paw Paw sliding! My sweet baby nephew lurves ice cream! Peyton got a special book from Gigi, Papa, Kelsie and Kody! It’s one of those books where you record yourself reading the story! He loves it!I can’t believe Peyton is 7! I really miss the days when my baby boys were little! Don’t get me wrong, I love that they are self sufficient but I miss the hectic early days!

After the party we went home and crashed. Well, Josh went to work..the rest of us crashed! And I woke up at 3 the next morning with the stomach bug! NOT fun. Thankfully it was short lived and I was better by the afternoon!

My Gigi cupcake count is only at 3! I’m pretty proud of myself! ha! Red Velvet is the best so far!

Cupcakes!

Today is the day I skip the dieting! Today is the day that T-town’s newest cupcake shop opened..Gigi’s!

And they have realllly yummy cupcakes!

Here’s what we got today!

I got Carrot Cake, Allison got Tiramisu and Brad got Chocolate Covered Strawberry. Mine and Allison’s are GREAT! We didn’t try Brad’s because he is still at work and that’s just mean! ha! That picture really doesn’t do the cupcakes justice! Al snapped that with her iphone just before we dug in…no time to dig out the good camera! ha! The icing is at least two inches.

And I didn’t want to leave the hubs out, but he would have knocked me in the head if I would have brought him one! He’s way more serious about his diet that I am.

Daddy is WRAPPED!

Tonight at bath time I asked Reece who she wanted to give her a bath. Normally I give her one. She said, “DADDY!!!!” Her face was covered in lipstick and eye shadow because I was letting her play with make-up. She jumped off the couch, ran over to Josh, gave him a big ole smooch and said, “Daddy, Please give me a bath!” Guess what they are doing right now!

She is so funny with him. She knows exactly how to work him! I don’t have a clue where she learned that from! :)

Dieting

I’m on a diet. Kinda sorta. It’s more like a life change than a diet. Several months ago I pretty much quit eating fried food. I would still have the occasional french fry or boneless wings, but that was cutting WAY back. Then I cut back to one Mt. Dew per day.

After all that I decided that I seriously wanted to lose 15 pounds. So now I’m watching every single thing that goes in my mouth and counting calories.

I’ve lost 5 pounds in one week. And that was with a cheat day because I had the stomach bug and didn’t care what I ate as long as it stayed down. It was all about survival at that point! ha!

My BIGGEST issue is sweets. I DOUBLE TRIPLE HEART SWEETS! I can’t help myself…it’s in my blood! I love to bake also, so that’s a problem. I haven’t had a brownie batter blizzard in months…so that’s a start! ha! Peanut M & M’s are mine and Reece’s favorite…of course she’s still eating them but I will NOT!

I broke up with regular Mt. Dew and switched to diet. I NEVER in a million years thought that would happen..but, once I started counting those calories it seemed like SUCH a waste! I plan to axe the dew altogether once I don’t get a headache from missing it!

Hubby is back on his diet. He works out on his lunch break. I need to start exercising again…one thing at a time people!

Happy Birthday Peyton!

Our sweet baby boy is SEVEN today! I can’t believe it! Little ones grow so fast. You really have to cherish every single second. Peyton is catching up with Griffin, he may even outweigh him. He is almost as tall as Griff.

His party is tonight! It’s going to be so much fun! This is actually the third birthday party that Peyton has had at this place!(Griffin has had parties there too!) He LOVES having his parties there. So do I because the only thing I have to bring is cake! They provide everything else, I mean EVERYTHING!

Here’s our new boy! He fits right in at our house. He’s spoiled rotten already and the biggest lap dog I have EVER seen! I think he weighs 93 pounds right now. He is super sweet but I have no doubt that if the need was there he would tear someone up if they messed with me, Josh or the kids! Reece LOVES to boss him around…it’s so funny because he is bigger than her but he minds her! He loves his duck as you will see in the pictures…it squeaks which is a little annoying but he knows exactly how to make it squeak and doesn’t do it while anyone is sleeping! :) LOVES to sleep like this! Ignore our crate, it’s been outside unused for a while! Ignore my mess in the floor, I just wanted you to see how big he is compared to Chippie! Oh and she bosses him too! With his foster Dad and Sister… So sweet!

We’re loving having a dobie around again! :)

Photo Shoot!

I just remembered that I never posted the pictures from our Christmas Card photo shoot! Here they are! And there are not as many of Griffin as there are of Peyton and Reece. Sue me. I recall him having a VERY ADHD afternoon that day and being very difficult to photograph!

I think for next Christmas it would be super cute if I had a little pooch in the Christmas card picture! Don’t you?!?! :)
