2012 Christmas Card!

I am SUPER behind. The kiddies have been/are sick. All three. I’m pretty sure they’ve never been ALL sick at the same time. Sad.

And hard on a pregnant mama. I haven’t slept more than a few hours in a few days. And when I sleep it’s super light so that I can hear my babies if they need me. And so I can wake up when it’s time for the Motrin to wear off. That’s like an internal alarm clock for me. I just wake up right when it’s time. Weird.

Anyway, we had Reece’s birthday party this weekend and have been to see Santa and countless other things I need to blog about! It will happen! It may be after Christmas before I get it all on here but, hey, that’s life right now.

So, here’s our Christmas card this year-with our last name edited out to keep the crazies away.

21 Weeks!

I already know what your thinking…”Holy Boobs”. Yea, me too.

How far along: 21 Weeks!

Size of the baby: According to Baby Center, three-quarters of a pound and approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot.

Total weight gain/loss: Up 15 pounds.

Maternity clothes: Sometimes.

Stretch marks: Old one.

Sleep: Can’t get enough.

Best moment this week: Took the kids to see Santa last night!

Movement: All the time!

Food cravings/aversions: I still want the sweet tea but I have backed off of it. I was only drinking a glass of it a day but I’m trying to get back to water only! I’ve been craving Taco Casa for a week!

Gender: I want to know SO bad. But I’m not going to give in. I’m that stubborn.

Labor signs: NO, thankfully.

Belly button in or out: In

What I am looking forward to: Being lazy with my kids tomorrow and Reece’s birthday party on Sunday!

This pregnancy is flying by so fast. And sometimes I still catch myself remembering that I am pregnant! I know that sounds weird. But I get excited all over again. As soon as Christmas is over it is full-blown baby mode for us! We have to get the nursery done at home AND at the office! :)

Sweet Little Mary

Reece’s Christmas Play was this past Friday. I have been super excited and she has been too…until she realized how many people would be there! HA! I wish you could peek into our house at night. She’s either dancing around, doing gymnastics or singing to the top of her lungs every single night. But put her in front of people and she’s done!

She did such a good job at the play. She walked in with her hands over her face and went to her place. I was a little scared but as soon as she sat down she uncovered her face!

I had high hopes of getting her picture with all her fan base that was there but she wasn’t having it! We barely got this…

That was back when my husband had a lot more to love! He may kill me for posting these! Now he’s all skinny! :)

20 Weeks!

I feel a hair whacking coming on! Oh,  you’re wondering why I have on SHORT SLEEVES in December? Because it has been in the 70’s here this week! 70’s!!!!

How far along: 20 weeks!!! Holy cow!!!

Size of the baby: According to Baby Center, about the size of a banana… 6 1/2 inches long from head to booty and 10 inches from head to heel, 10 1/2 ounces…but according to my ultrasound it weighs 11 ounces!

Griffin has been waiting for the baby to be the size of a banana, so he’ll be excited when I tell him! haha!

Total weight gain/loss: Up 15 pounds.

Maternity clothes: Sometimes.

Stretch marks: Old one.

Sleep: Sleep is fabulous!

Best moment this week: Seeing our sweet little baby Wednesday!

Movement: All the time. And I still about jump out of my skin if I’m driving or something when he/she kicks me! That’s Griffin and Peyton’s favorite thing to do(hide and scare me) so it just gets that honestly! :)

Food cravings/aversions: Still sweet tea with lemon and any kind of fruit I can get my hands on. I think I may can eat an egg now. Maybe. But our chickens aren’t really laying many right now so really I probably won’t even try.

Gender: Who knows! Josh now thinks girl too. So when it comes out a boy we are going to be so surprised and super excited! ;)

Labor signs: NO, thankfully.

What I am looking forward to: Reece’s Christmas play today!!!!!

I have a full fledged forgetful pregnant brain. Today it’s really bad. Today I forgot to wake my husband up. I was in a little trouble. But honestly it never even crossed my brain until he said, “um why didn’t you wake me up?” Crap. He didn’t have to be at work or anything he just had some errands this morning. I feel so bad.

Also, please keep Officer Hubby and his co-workers in your prayers. They lost a fellow officer last night. He had a car wreck yesterday morning and couldn’t pull through. I can’t imagine the nightmare his wife is facing right now.

BABY!

HAHA! Don’t hate me for that! :)

Our ultrasound was this morning and everything is perfect! There’s nothing better than seeing a sweet, perfect little baby growing inside you!

I was so nervous because I was afraid that as soon as she put the wand on my stomach we would see “it” plain as day! I was also afraid I would lose self-control and just say “forget it, tell me what it is!” But I didn’t, I had to bite my tongue once or twice to keep from saying it! The sweet ultrasound tech did her best to steer clear of the whole area, she doesn’t even know what it is because she was afraid she would slip up.

After the ultrasound I saw my doctor. He is super excited we decided to keep it a surprise!

Here is his/her profile! There was also thumb sucking going on!!! This will be our first thumb sucker if that continues! Gets that from Daddy! :)

I also have to tell y’all this…the other day Reece and I were driving down the road and she said, “Mommy, how’s the baby going to drink milk?” I told her, “From my boobies.”(Might as well make sure she knows now, right?) She said, “Oh my word…what if Daddy sees your boobies???!!!!!!”

HAHA! She really cracks me up!

Christmas Tree Cones

I saw this idea on pinterest a little while back. I needed to get back in the good graces of my sons after buying the Hello Kitty gingerbread house! It worked! And it was fun! And they left a mess! Which means they had extra fun! :)

(PLEASE for the love of all things holy do NOT miss the tattoo that she has on her NECK! sheesh.)
