Happy 6th Birthday to you!!! I can not believe it has been six years since you came into our lives! I honestly don't know what we did before we had you. You have taught me so much about life and you gave me my most favorite title, Mommy. (Although you have started calling us Mom and Dad, which we hate!) Daddy and I are so proud to be your parents. You are so much fun. There is not a day that goes by that you don't have us laughing. Your infectious smile and baby blue sparkly eyes are to die for! The ladies will definitely be after you one day! You're a sneaky little thing.(which may not mix well with the whole "ladies" thing, we'll have to talk about that one!) Oh, and let's not forget that you are a little dare-devil. Master P and Baby Girl think you are an excellent big brother. You and Master P get into fights like all brothers do, but you always make up. Baby Girl thinks you are the funniest thing she has ever seen.

One Year Ago Today

I can't believe it's been a year since Carolyn passed away. I still miss her so much. I miss her laugh. I miss her saying her famous phrase, "Ok then." I miss her love for her Chihuahua's, Sassy and Sissy. I miss making fun of her for naming them Sassy and Sissy. I miss hearing her call her "Diddy" on the southern linc. I miss talking about our Josh's. I miss tons of things about her. Today is a sad day.

For those of you who don't know the story, Carolyn was on her way to Wal-Mart with her husband of three weeks, Josh, when they were T-boned by a drunk Mexican. The car flipped several times and landed on it's top. Josh made it out with a few scraps, bumps and bruises and a hurt neck. Carolyn on the other hand passed away at the scene. She had just turned 21 five days earlier and she was an only child.

Three weeks after he walked her down that isle, he had to walk down it to see her at the end in a casket. Oh, you are probably wondering what happened to the Mexican. Nothing....absolutley nothing.

So, I am thinking that I don't give Josh near enough credit for being such a great hubby. I decided to make a list of all the reason's he is my favorite!

1. G-man

2. Master P.

3. Baby Girl

4. He lets me be the boss.

5. He is a darn good police officer.

6. He works his bootay off.

7. He only gets a few hours of sleep a day so that he can pick up G-man from school to keep him from having to go to extended day.

8. I CAN NOT stay mad at him for more than like an hour.

9. He sometimes gives me back rubs!

10. He will go buy me Milo's sweet tea at 9:00 at night.

11. Pet names. You would be shocked at some of the things we call each other!

12. He has a giant heart!

13. He is super laid back. And that works well for us because I AM NOT!

14. He knows how to manage my crazy moods. He has witnessed both extremes of pure happiness and sadness and still sticks around!

15. He can always make me laugh!

There are many many more reasons but I should keep some to myself! I love you Hunny Bunny!

Happy 80th Birthday Big Mama!

Most of you who know me in real life know my sweet grandmother, Big Mama! Today is her 80th birthday! I can guarantee you that you will not meet a sweeter person than her! She will do ANYTHING for ANYONE! She still goes to Wal-Mart everyday, she volunteers at least one day a week at the hospital, makes gorgeous quilts...the list goes on and on and she STILL manages to keep ALL of us in line!!

We went to Tokyo last night to celebrate. It was YUMMY!

That was a pretty sucky game last week against Kentucky. But, a win is a win and maybe they will straighten up next week when we take on Ole Miss!
