He’s growing so fast!

Brooks – 3 Months!

Sweet Brooks you are three months old! Here’s a little bit of what you’ve been up to!

-You still look JUST like your Daddy! Every now and then you’ll look a certain way and I’ll see myself but that’s rare. Every time Daddy is holding you I do double takes of y’all because I just can’t get over how MUCH you look like him! I love it!

-You sometimes laugh out loud in your sleep! It’s SO funny and cute! You’ve only laughed out loud while awake a couple of times.

-Moved on to the size 2 diaper! It’s really too big but the 1’s are too small. You’re kinda in between!

-I’m fairly certain you started teething 2-3 weeks ago. You drool out of control and your hands are in your mouth a lot..and you chew them.

-You started playing with a few toys this month!

-You are still in the size 3 month and 3-6 month clothes.

-Still LOVING bath time! You always smile when you realize that you are in the tub.

-Still not loving the car. It’s MUCH better than it was but you still hate it. I just wish I knew why you hate it so bad. HAHA!

-Still have those pretty blue eyes and long eyelashes. Seriously, they are so long that they blow in the wind! I noticed that at the beach this weekend!

-Your hair is falling out a little and I can see where it’s starting to grow in thicker. It looks like it’s going to be really dark.

-You sleep better when we are at the beach. The only two times you’ve slept through the night we’ve been down there!

-I have finally learned to predict you! I know when you are going to be ready to eat, when you want to sleep, etc. It’s nice to be able to plan!

-You are still nursing like a pro. I’m not sure how much you weigh but I’m guessing 14 pounds or so!

-You love it when I kiss your bare belly! ;)

-Still loving the Moby Wrap! We learned some new holds this month since you are bigger!

-You LOVE your brothers and sister! You always light up when they talk to you!

We love you little Love Muffin! And, yes, I still love your lips!

Beach Bums!

We have seriously turned into some beach bums! Brooks is 3 months old today and just had his 3rd beach trip! As long as Josh is off on the weekends, that’s where you’ll find us!

Griff was riding his bike when he looked up at this tree…I could see the wheels turning and by the time I looked back up, this is where he was!Pey did this for about 20 minutes because we DO NOT get in the water when there’s a red flag! Keepin’ it real folks!Griff dug a hold and buried himself…notice the pretty little storm in the background!Presh!Reecey and her baby! We found a note that Granna and Aunt Janna left for us at Tacky Jacks!

I took the kids on a walk around the block while we were there. The boys wanted to ride their bikes so I pushed Brooks in the stroller and Reece and I walked. We got around the corner and out of the corner of my eye I could see something coming at me. I turned and it was a pit bull, charging straight at me and Brooks! My heart sank, but I knew that if I acted scared it may be bad. So, I just kept my cool and ignored her, she licked me on the back of my leg as I kept walking….thankfully! Scared me to death. I know pit bulls have a “bad name” like dobies, but I really think it was just how she looked when she was coming at me! I can definitely see why people are scared of them!

Behind on Life!

Poor blog. I just can’t find the time for it lately. I have like 3 pending posts that I’ve been working on and can never seem to finish! It’s important to me to keep this thing updated though, for the sheer fact that I can look back on post like this and cry from laughing SO HARD! Ha!

So since I last blogged we….

…Had a fabulous 4th of July!  …went to a sweet friend’s first birthday party! She was NOT worried about getting messy! …and spent some more time at the beach! It was a rainy beach trip so we may or may not have blown $75 on ONE Build A Bear and who knows how much $ playing lazer tag and bumbleball. Oops. All in the name of family fun!(Boys aren’t in these, hence the lazer tag and bumbleball!) PLEASE notice the tongue! Little nugget is getting chunky!      Paw Paw taught him how to spit spitballs. So now, he does it all.the.time. GRR!   I don’t even know what this was about! PS-that’s root beer not coke. Y’all know me better than that!LOVE him!

In just a little over a month school starts back! Where did summer go?

Off to cram in some more beach time!

Brooks-2 Months!

Baby Brooks you are two months old! Time is flying Love Muffin! You are such a sweet baby..you are smiling and cooing now and it melts me!(And Daddy, and Griffin, Peyton and Reece, and your aunts, and your grandparents!Ha!)

-You are still nursing like a champ! At your two month check up you weighed 12 pounds and 12 ounces which is the 75th percentile. Your height was in the 75th percentile also..your head 95th percentile.

-You are wearing mostly size 3 month clothing, some 3-6.

-You are still in a size 1 diaper.

-You LOVE bath time!

-You HATE to ride in the car! If you are asleep, you’re fine. If someone is sitting in the back with you, you’re fine. But any other time you scream the entire car ride. It’s sad, really.

-You have put yourself on somewhat of a schedule! Especially at night, you’ll eat around 6, then sleep until around midnight, then eat around 3 and 5. I’m up at 5 anyway so that’s not even night to me!

-You took your first trip to the beach crib this month!

-You have SUPER long eyelashes..so long they curl!

-You still have the best lips!

-You have dark hair and the most beautiful blue eyes just like Griffin, Peyton and Reece!

Dude, you did NOT want to take pictures with the elephant this month! HAHA! Eyelashes… Smiling with Daddy while Mommy shopped!

OH and you LURVE the Moby Wrap!
