Last week we went to visit Santa! Brooks just looked at him and Cason freaked his freak! Big time. Haha!
To see our past Santa visits go here and here!
Merry Christmas!
We celebrated Reece’s SEVENTH birthday Saturday! I can’t believe our Christmas baby is 7!!
She and I had a date Friday night! My best friend’s little girl had her dance recital and it was the perfect mommy/daughter date! It was so cute…she and I both really enjoyed it!
As soon as Officer Hubby arrived home from work Saturday morning we let her open her gifts from us and we ate cookie cake! Yes we did…at 8 am. That night we had dinner at Cypress Inn, the birthday girl’s choice! Afterwards, we carried on with our tradition and went riding to see Christmas lights! It was a fun day!
One of my very favorite things about Christmas is Christmas Cards! It makes me so excited to see what’s in the mailbox during December! I heart snail mail! I make it a priority to send out a card every year…I don’t think I’ve missed one year since Griffin was born! I bet I have them all…I need to dig them out! Anyway, here’s this year’s card!
Last week(or maybe the one before that..ha!), Griffin had his first band concert! For these kids to have not known how to play AT ALL three months ago, it was GREAT! I was so proud of them!
He is still loving playing all the percussion instruments! He is constantly drumming on anything and everything and it kinda drives me insane.
But that’s ok!
We celebrated Reece’s birthday a couple of weeks early this year! When you are born 5 days before Christmas you get to do this sort of thing! ;) She wanted a Frozen party-of course she did, along with every other birthday girl! And she also wanted an ice skating party! Perfect! It was freezing in the arena BUT we had a cozy little fireplace in our party room!
She was too shy to blow her candles out…cue your BFF’s! haha! They handled it! I LOVE this of my sweet little niece peeking through the glass!! We love our birthday girl! I can’t believe she will be SEVEN on Saturday! She has her birthday all planned out! ;) And also…our cute little party favors! And, for my records, her invite:
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Officer Hubby was off work so it was EXTRA fun! We never have the same off days, only for Thanksgiving! BUT, this year, Christmas and New Year’s fall on his off days also so we get to spend ALL of the holidays together!!!! YIPEE!!
We ate Thanksgiving lunch at my sister’s and then we were lazy pretty much the rest of the day. We spent the weekend decorating for Christmas and cheering our TIDE to an Iron Bowl VICTORY! I heart family time!
Yesterday we celebrated Josh’s 33rd birthday! YEP, he’s OLD! haha! I don’t care how old he is, I love that man more than anything!
