A Little Funny

....for this yucky Monday morning! I promise I will update about Thanksgiving with pictures very soon! I've been trying to do so since Thursday and just haven't found the time! It's not like we have three kids or anything, I don't know WHY I don't have time! hee hee!

So, last night Reece and Peyton were sharing a candy cane. I have no idea where they got said candy cane because I haven't bought any this year. But anywho, they were sharing! That's all that matters! I had no idea they even had the candy cane until they both came up missing and were WAYYYY too quiet. I snuck around the house until I found them in Peyton's room. He was on the computer and she was standing right beside him. That's a little strange because she stays under me 24/7. So I stood there for a second watching them without them knowing! Then I heard Reece say, "Bite buh!!"(Bite Brother!) That's when I noticed the candy. Whatever. I stood there and watched them share the whole thing! But then there was a tiny problem, there was only one bite left! I could see the wheels a turnin' in Peyton's head......Eenie Meanie is the only way to solve this problem! So he started singing and pointing......

My momma told me to pick the very best one and you are"..........and then the blood drained outta my childs' face because he could see that the "it" was gonna be Reece! And the wheels started turning again!

I thought I was going to pee in my pants ya'll!

Oh, and the Roll Tide, well that was from me! Sorry Auburn. Better luck next time, I mean never again!

Happy Birthday!

To Ben and Greenie! Our sweet doberman's are already a year old! They are turning into gorgeous dogs! Ben was actually in the doggy hospital over the weekend. Towards the end of last week one side of his face got really swollen. Josh tried to treat it with some medicine we already had but by Saturday morning he was so swollen he couldn't see out of the only eye he has! Poor baby! So Josh took him in and they kept him until yesterday...once they lanced it, he was better! I snapped this pic of him this morning...

He was still kind of tired and sad from being at the vet. I tried to get a picture of his crazy sister but she was in the very back of the backyard, climbing a tree. No, not kidding!

Hoopla!

A bunch of randomness coming right up! Put your seat belt on! ha!

Some friends and I hosted a baby shower yesterday for the sister. It was great! I don't think there have EVER been that many people in my house. Really. We couldn't have fit one more person. Hubby slept through the entire hen party, by the way! I'm telling you that man can sleep through anything! Allison got a whole bunch of fantastic things! I'm so glad! One of the other hostesses took pics, so when I get my hands on them I'll put them on here!

Speaking of the hubby, being around a bunch of women like that makes me even more thankful for him. Hearing how some of their husbands talk to them, tell them what to do, tell them what they can and can't buy and so forth really blows my mind! I don't get it and I'm glad I don't! I wouldn't know what to do if Josh acted like that! We just don't act like that at our house...we're a team! We think the same and agree on things 95% of the time. Guess that's why we like each other so much!

So today I officially switch from baby shower mode to birthday party/Thanksgiving/ Christmas mode! I can't believe sweet baby girl is almost 2!! Geeze! I'm thinking a Ladybug party is appropriate for our Ladybug! :)

And last but not least......our sweet Crimson Tide! Yep, we're still rolling over everyone we play. This Friday the entire state of Alabama will stop at 1:30 in the afternoon and tune in to watch the Iron Bowl. If you'll remember(haha) we shut out Auburn last year.....

Aww...how sad!

How nice it would be for THAT to happen again this year!

And then we take on the Gators. WE WILL BEAT FLORIDA THIS YEAR! Actually we technically beat them last year, we just couldn't beat Tim Tebow! ha!

Thanksgiving Feast!

Allison and I just got back to work after having Thanksgiving lunch with Reece at her school! So fun! If you ignore the little brats whose parents don't watch them and let them scream and cry the whole time! Ahem. The food was good and the little princess that was our company was just as precious as she always is!

Sorry I've been not posting as much lately. We have just been so busy. And if I am not busy with work or family...I'm farming my crops on FarmVille!

Ho Ho Ho!

I am so excited about Christmas this year! Our babies are all at the perfect ages....they all still believe in Santa and all the magic that the season brings! This is the best time of year! We've already gotten a good start on the kids things they'll be getting from Santa which are already at the North Pole aka my office! Don't worry your pretty little head over the kids coming by to see me and finding them though because they are hid...in the shower! ha! We don't generally shower at work anyway, so I thought I would put it to good use! I like to put the tree and decorations up the weekend after Thanksgiving. Josh likes to wait until after his birthday which is December 2nd. He got his way last year, but I don't think I can wait this year! I mean, I already want to put it up now! The only thing that I don't really like is that Reece turns 2 five days before Christmas! Boo. :( Where did our baby go??

YAY!

YAY our team beat LSU this past weekend and secured our much deserved spot in the SEC Championship!

YAY these are back! Yes, I've already had a few. No, still haven't joined hubs on that diet he's rockin'!

Pumpkins and Monkeys!

Have you missed me? I figured you had! ha! We've been one busy family lately!


Let's start by backing alllll the way up until last Thursday! Josh went with Peyton and his class to the pumpkin patch! They had a really fun time and got some really good pumpkins!

And then Thursday night we went to the Moola Moola Monster Bash! We had a really fun time! Our credit union does this for the kids every year! It's fun and free!

Next was Halloween night, time for Trick-or-Treating! We had a cute little ladybug, a scary pirate and a pissed off Indian! ha! These next pictures really crack me up! Griff was mad because Reece would not sit in his lap, she wanted to sit in Peyton's lap. It's pretty bad you have to fight over your sister! And don't even say it's time for another one...get that out of your brain now! ha!




We love to trick-or-treat at Big Mama's! We went to her house after we went all around our neighborhood. On the way Griffin said, "I'm really tired, but I'm glad we're still going to Big Mama's! I'm going to be really sad when she passes away one day and we can't go see her. She's the best grandmother in the world!" Ya'll!!!!! I seriously thought I was going to cry the rest of the night! He hit the nail on the head with that one!



Somewhere mixed in this week of craziness we hired a temporary employee for the day! She took over my chair, propped her feet up and ate a sucker!



And today Griffin and I went to the zoo with his class! We had a blast! We didn't really all stick together so Griffin and I had some serious one on one mommy and Griff time! LOVED IT!

So, right after I took that last picture I was kind of floored. Now, there's a disclaimer to this....I may be about to tick some people off. I'm sorry for that. We don't always have to agree! So, if you don't agree with me on this, let's just agree to disagree! No mean comments, please! I turned around after taking the picture to see a woman sitting on a bench boob flapping everywhere, breastfeeding her baby. Now, ya'll now I am very pro breastfeeding. I breastfed all three of our babies, Reece for 8 months. But I think there is a line that people should not cross. Couldn't she have covered?? She wasn't even trying! I saw her nipple! ewww! I'm not saying she should breastfeed in the bathroom or anything like that because that is gross, but cover your boob, because there are 975 kids running around you and they don't want to see it and neither do their parents!


Anywho, we had a fabulous time at the zoo! Me and my little man!
