Reece Said…

On this past Saturday after nap, Reece and I were craving hamburgers and ice cream! So we ran to the grocery store to get everything we needed! She has this little ceramic cell phone that she made with my sister, Kelsie, at All Fired Up that she carries around with her a lot and she had it with her. She was in charge of pushing the cart. I was walking ahead of her when she said, “Stop for a sec. I have a text message.” So, I stopped so she could check it. Then she said, “It was Lawson.” So I asked her what he said. “He said I love you Reecie. Will you marry me? I’ll buy you a pink and purple ring!”

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

She knows what’s up!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had such a great weekend!! Friday night this little guy spent the night..He was determined that I was going to let him ride down the driveway like the big boys! Um no! The kids had SO much fun. They played and played and played!

On Saturday, well I don’t remember what we did on Saturday. I think we were lazy!

On Sunday, we had lunch at McDonald’s with Big Mama. I HATE McDonald’s! She is definitely the ONLY person, including my children, that can get me to eat there! HA! eww. Ignore the fact that I look stupid…why is my child looking so pimp???? hellurr After that we went by my mom’s for a little swim where I discovered this…Oh emmm geee. Yum.

Then on Memorial Day we went to Josh’s brother’s house for some pool time and yummy food! And baby hogging for me!

The boys are such little fish! I’m just waiting on Reece to take off in the pool any day now.

Idiot me didn’t get a picture of the baby! Sheesh. Probably because I was too busy holding her! But, trust me, she is super duper cute and oh so squishy! She was all smiling and cooing! ahhhhh!!!!!

Four Year Check Up

Reece and I just went to her four year well check up! Her doctor waits until the spring to do check ups if your birthday is in the winter(once you aren’t a baby, of course!).

Of course she passed all the tests with flying colors and got the kid of the day award from her doc! :) She is in the 98th percentile on her height. So she’ll be taller than me along with the boys! She got her finger pricked…she didn’t flinch and watched the whole thing! Then she had to get FOUR shots. She didn’t flinch or cry for those either! Big girl! Before shots… After shots…boo. That hurt a little! ANNNNNDDDDDD The cure for all evil shots… SUMMER SNOW!!! And a happy meal!! :)

Yes I made part of that outfit. No, I still don’t know how to sew! ha!

Meet Oreo

Lawd.

Y’all know I don’t like cats. Hubs doesn’t either. But Griffin LOVES cats. And sometimes parents have to give a little.

So we did.

I think little kitty cats are so cute and cuddley but we all know they grow up to be grown up cats. And grown up cats are snitches!

It is NOT staying inside. EVER. Been there done that TWICE and I will NEVER have a cat inside again! The end.

This all started yesterday just after lunch. My Mom came by the office and I glanced up from my desk to see her walking in with something wrapped up in a sweatshirt. It’s 975 degrees. All she said was, “one of y’all gotta take this.” And then there was a little meow followed by “awww”, followed by “Al’s taking it”! But Brad said “no”. Earlier in the day I had been thinking about how we’d promised Griffin when we moved we would get him another cat once we got settled. Well we’re settled and out of excuses! ha!

So, we took the cat. And the chill-ren were very surprised and happy.

Fun Weekend!

Josh and I had so much fun this weekend at the beach! It was super packed because of the Hangout Music Festival. All the people being there wasn’t really that big of a deal because we weren’t really around where they were! They all stayed pretty much around the festival so the restaurants that we ate at were not crowded and the beach wasn’t too bad either!

We only took a couple of pictures on our anniversary and then we ditched the camera for the rest of the weekend! Rebels I tell ya! haha!

We did a lot of eating, hanging out on the beach and shopping. :) Fun times.

We love being kid free for a few days but a couple of days away is really all we can handle! We missed them so much! Oh, and there was lots of baby talk. :) We’re both ready to get this show on the road and complete our little family! ;)

10 Fabulous Years!

Josh and I have been married 10 years today! :) eeeekkkkk!!! So exciting! We’re actually somewhere warm and ALONE right now because I pre wrote this to publish while we are gone!

Honestly 10 years have flown by! It seems like a long time, but it hasn’t been for us. I love him more than ever right now. If you would have told me on our wedding day that in 10 years I would love him more, I would have told you you were nuts! ha.

We have a happy marriage. We just get along really well and rarely ever fight. It’s always been that way. We both constantly work to make sure the other one is happy. If we do happen to get into an argument,  we never leave it unresolved. We never go to bed mad or leave the house without the other one mad…especially when he is leaving for work!

Bottom line: We like to kiss and we like to make babies!
