Freakity!

These stupid things are back!

The boys came to the office about a week ago and stomped as many as they could and today they are back!!!!! ahhhhh!!!!! Freak  my freakin freakity freak freak!

I think I am going to get hubs to bring the boys up here to the office and let them catch them and take them home and feed them to the chickens!!!!!!! Mwhahahahaha.

Birchbox #2!

I received my second birchbox a couple of days ago! I have to admit, I had decided that if I wasn’t in love with this box I was going to cancel. I all of a sudden just saw millions of samples of stuff I wouldn’t use in my make up drawer and it almost gave me a heart attack! HA!

But, I’m in love. So, there you go!Ignore my messy desk and the annoying phone pic! It’s been a busy week here at the office! Who am I kidding? My desk is always a disaster!

There’s Stila GLITTERY!!!!!! liquid eyeliner, an Arquiste perfume sample, volumizing shampoo, lotion and a note card. Now, what in the world is that random note card for? I thought that was strange.

I was sold on the glitterly eye liner. But it is NO JOKE. I put it on just playing around the other night and it took 57 cotton balls soaked in eye make up remover to get it off!!!!!

Let’s just say I won’t be canceling my birchbox subscription!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! The kiddies and I are off to watch a Miracle League Baseball game in the morning!! I don’t think I blogged about it but I was part of a fundraiser that raised over $3000 for the Miracle League! So we’re presenting them with a check tomorrow!! Can’t wait!

Shark Tooth Creek

On Monday I went with my little buddy Peyton and his class to the Shark Tooth Creek! We had so much fun! Mr. Ken, the owner, is SO awesome with children!

We started out on the Shark Tooth Express and rode deep into the woods. Then we had a short hike to the creek. It is crazy how many shark teeth are down there! But when you think of it, sharks can have up to ten thousand teeth in a lifetime so it’s really not crazy at how many there were when you think of it that way! That was your science lesson for the day. You’re welcome!

(AND you’re welcome for THAT too. It was free! HA HA)

Ok, Mr. Ken gets the award for the BEST playhouse/fort EVA! It was complete with a 150 foot zip line AND a water slide!

Mr. Ken needed the kids’ help waking the security guard…

Bhahaha! Their faces were priceless!!! If you look close at the last picture you will see my child, the cop’s kid, still standing there NOT scared AT ALL.

I had so much fun with my little guy!

Fuzzy Wuzzy

The cuteness that these silkie chickens bring to Cluckingham Palace is insane! Their feathers are just like fur, so soft.

In just a couple of weeks they have gone from this… To this…

 

We only have 5 now. :( Hubs had to put one down. It’s leg was messed up and it was getting to where it couldn’t walk. We gave it a few weeks thinking it may correct itself but it didn’t. Eventually, when it was grown it wouldn’t be able to walk at all. Boo.

  In other news, decorating the coop is coming right along! Just need a few more flowers and a sign! Yes, I said more flowers. Flower freak.

Right now I’m loving some ruffly (that so IS a word!) curtains! Just got to figure out how to make them! OH wait, pinterest has a tutorial! Yeehaw!!


I think this would be perfect for down by the coop! We sit down there alot watching the chickens peck the ground. And eat my flowers. :)
I’ve been itching to redo the kids’ rooms. I like these ideas for the boys’ rooms…

I also want to redo the laundry room! There’s LOTS of shelf space and storage in there, which I love, but I think we need real cabinets in there! You know, to hide the crap! haha!
I feel like if the laundry room is cuter, maybe I’ll not mind spending so much time in there! :) It also doubles as Daisy and Chippie’s bedroom so maybe I should give them some say! I think they’ll be good with the blue!
I guess that’s enough sharing for today, but I will be back to share some of my favorite Pinterest recipes soon! I have a Fatty Fatty 2x4 Board and a Healthy board! :)

Beachin’ It!

We just got home from our first beach trip of the year! We had a great time! Ate WAY too much…I’m about to hit the gym big time!
P caught a big fish! Actually it was already dead! haha Griffin had to sit in time-out. Yes he did. ON the beach!
He was so mad. Oh well.

Her new favorite thing is to tan with Daddy! Next, it was time for a putt putt championship. Griffin and I are quite possibly the two most competitive people on the planet! So it was WAR! haha! And, heck no, I am NOT that parent that just let’s the kids win just because they are kids! If they win, they win fare and square! haha.
“I’m gonna beat you Mom!”  Good little scorekeeper!
And OF COURSE the champion is….ME! Friendly little fox family just chillin’ in the sunset!

I should also note that we DEVOURED two dozen Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in less than 24 hours. Yep, 24 doughnuts in 24 hours. HA! We also had our favorite Cuban Nachos, of course!
