Eeeeeekkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!
Details VERY soon!!
Reece is studying community helpers right now! Her class took a field trip to Publix yesterday. Josh went with them…I was at work!
Side note: They took pictures of the kids dressed up as community helpers. Of course Reece had to be the police officer. In her picture she has on a uniform and has a little boy on the floor in hand cuffs! They said she called for back-up! :)
This is Reece’s BFF, Mattie! They are joined at the hip!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Roll Tide!
Not to be confused with Honey Boo Boo.
Our other kitty, Oreo Cookie Little Tongue Kitty Cat(if THAT’S not a name I don’t know what is!), has been missing for a little over a week. And get ready for it….I miss her. I’m a sucker but she just was the best little cat, even hubs loved her! So I came home with this little girl yesterday. She’s a sweet little thing, she loves to just sit in your lap. And, of course, the kids are in love!
She was only inside for a little while. I lost my mind for a half a second and thought about letting her stay inside! Like I said, lost my mind. So she’s outside!
We had a fun weekend! Friday we went to watch my little brother play football! I LOVE high school football, almost as much as college! Noah learned to say “Go Bears!”.Saturday we hung out playing with the chickens waiting for the big game! Oh, and this is when we discovered a stray chicken hanging out around our coop!! Griffin the chicken whisperer caught it and put it inside the coop with our other chickens.
I know you can’t see that very well but it’s the best I could get! She likes to run. All.the.time! run run run run I started calling her roadrunner because she is always in a full blown sprint! Later that day we went to check on her and the other chickens were picking on her. I decided to let her out of the coop because I was afraid they were going to kill her. But, she’s still hanging around in our yard! I figured between the dogs chasing her and the chickens being mean she would leave. But, no.
Also, the rooster flogged Reece on Sunday. (didn’t hurt her, just scared the crap out of both of us!)So he’ll be someone’s winner winner chicken dinner very soon! I am very shocked that I didn’t kill him as many times as I kicked him.
Ok, so back on track here. We beat the holy crap out of Michigan! Roll Tide! I’m ready for #15!
Since the boys had to go to school yesterday, Reece and I had a girls day! We shopped and shopped, then picked up the boys from school and shopped some more! It’s been a LONG time since I have shopped that much in one day! HA! I hated the boys had to go to school but I love one on one time with my girl! :)
It’s here, it’s here, it’s here!!!! Football season is upon us!
Roll Tide!
My sister and brother-in-law went to Dallas for the game so guess who gets to keep Noah ALLLLL WEEKEND!!!!! Super excited. I do know that I will have to fight Reece to spend any time with him though. She likes to hog mommy him. And that’s ok.
I came across this commercial for the Bryant Museum and thought I would share!
Today I had a lunch date with Peyton! We had a yummy lunchroom cheeseburger and fries! So much for watching the calories today, might as well have a doughnut too! haha!
All of the kids in his room were so excited I was there! One little girl told me that I was beautiful today and several of the kiddies wanted to sit with me. :) I really wish I could have stayed all day with them! Maybe on Monday Reece and I can visit for a little while since they have to go to school Labor Day.
:( boo.
We have recently been taking Griffin and Peyton to visit our orthodontist.(well mine, Josh was blessed with a perfect smile!) Did you know that you should take your child to see an orthodontist by the age of 7? Because I didn’t! The boys both had to have night guards because they grind their teeth at night. Peyton does it so bad that his teeth look like a 40 year old man’s teeth in the back. It has not been fun trying to remember to put those things in at night. Of course they don’t remember or care and my brain does not function well at night! ;) You would think the $300+ that we paid for EACH of them would remind me. Um no.
I love our dentist, but he didn’t even let us know about the teeth grinding problem! And we see him twice a year! A little annoyed about that.
The work Griffin will have to have done is more extensive than Peyton’s. Because, well, his bite is jacked up. In more ways than one.
He’s still the cutest!
So, today he and I spent our morning getting an appliance put in on his upper teeth that will have to be turned twice a day. Oh goody. The appliance has a name but I can’t remember it so we’ll call it the thingamabob.
The thingamabob is going to be a little bit of an adjustment! It’s hard to swallow with it and hard to talk. Not to mention you can see it when he smiles and they have school pictures tomorrow and we have a family photo shoot soon!
Oh well, it’s just part of growing up…and that’s just how he looks until December!
