Yeppers! I’m just now there, folks!

Our Christmas was spread out over four days again this year. I’m loving it! Makes it last longer and it’s not really so rushed!

Christmas Eve Eve we spent with Big Mama. Love this woman more than anyone could ever imagine!

My sweet little nephew is getting so big!!

Christmas Eve lunch we spent at my Mom’s, where we surprised Pop with a new puppy!

He had NO clue! So much fun!

Your eyes do not deceive you! There are two puppies in the picture! Katie got a new baby too!

The kiddos got bean bags that were a huge hit! The dress that Reece has on was mine when I was little! My mom made it. I wish I would’ve got a better picture of her in it, it has really pretty green smocking.

I don’t have a picture of Griff on his bean bag…probably because Bella was hogging it! :)

And then Christmas Eve night we had dinner at Josh’s grandparents!

Next came Christmas morning! I’m NOT posting what Santa brought because I’m that embarrassed! He brought way too much. And I was very disappointed in him! ha!

Well, here’s part of it.

Reece-bug woke up first

And was followed quickly by her brothers

We hung out most of the day, put things together, watched movies, played the Kinect and then headed to Gigi and Papa’s for dinner!

The day after Christmas we did Christmas with Josh’s parents!

My sweet little niece was SO excited she got to hold the cat! hahaha!

I rang in the new year…

…with the flu AND pneumonia! And Josh had the flu. It was horrible, horrible, horrible! I don’t think I have EVER been so sick. I actually started feeling bad the week before Christmas..just didn’t have a whole lot of energy and didn’t feel like myself. I ignored it because I was bound and determined to have a non-sick Christmas! Our Christmas was fabulous and I’ll post a gagillion pictures as soon as I can!

Griffin also had the flu last week and I’m so thankful that kids feel better fast!

I feel so behind! I have so much to blog about..Christmas, Josh picked up Niko, and I’m sure something that I can’t think of right at the moment!

Reece’s Party Pictures!

Reece really enjoyed her party but she didn’t want to participate in ANYTHING. I was a little surprised because I figured she would want to show off all her gymnastics moves! She just doesn’t like to be the center of attention AT ALL. Josh is that way and I was when I was her age so she gets it honestly. Once we started opening presents I realized that she had a fever:( So, she probably just wasn’t feeling like partying!

Griffin and Peyton had a blast! In fact, Peyton wants to have his birthday party there next month! :) Everyone loves the pit!She LOVES me! My sweet little nephew! Happy Birthday to you! xoxo,

Our sweet baby girl turns three today! THREE! We had her party this past Saturday at the place where she takes gymnastics! These were taken before the party..I’ll post the rest later!

We’re off to eat rice and beans(mexican)! It’s the birthday girl’s choice!

2010 Christmas Card

The free Shutterfly card thing didn’t work out for me. I emailed them the first of December and never got a response so I designed our cards myself! I love how they turned out!

Niko

We’re in the process of adopting this little guy…Ok, Ok 90-something pounds is not technically little.

And I say process because it’s been a huge process! HUGE. If you have adopted a human I have a LOT of respect for you right now. Not that I didn’t before, it’s just grown because the process of adopting a dog is tedious and time consuming and nerve wracking. But worth it! We’ve been run through the ringer and apparently we’ve passed ALLLL the tests.

So, his name is Niko. He lives in Georgia…Griffin, Georgia! (that was our first “sign” that he would be ours!) He is going through heart worm treatments right now. :( But, he will be fine.

On Sunday we loaded up the kids and Chippie and made the four hour drive to Griffin to meet Niko. (Griffin loved seeing all the signs in the town with his name on them!) We needed to make sure that he fit in with us. He did and my husband is so happy! He’s wanted another red dobie since Mako passed away and now it’s time. The kids did great on the long drive. I was worried about being stuck in the car for a total of 8 hours in one day but it worked out fine! We watched Toy Story 3 about 57 times, but hey, whatever works! I was honestly amazed at how well my children handled the whole day! :)

Niko is very well behaved and trained! He laid down just like the picture above and had his nails trimmed..didn’t move a muscle! He was super sweet with the kids and kissed me right in the mouth! ha! I’m sure Josh will be his favorite!

Chippie got along fine with Niko, after she made sure he knew she’s the boss! He was actually scared of her and ran and put his head in Josh’s lap! ha! 100 pound dog scared of a less than 10 pound dog!

The week after Christmas the lady from the humane society will meet Josh half way with Niko! We’re SUPER excited!
